About the Role

As an Finance Intern, you will play a supportive role in the finance department by assisting with the day-to-day financial operations. You will gain hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial analysis, and document management while working closely with the team to ensure accuracy and compliance across various financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Data & Bookkeeping

  • Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data.
  • Assist in preparing basic bookkeeping, including performing journal entries and adjusting entries.
  • Support month-end or quarter-end closing activities.
  • Help with bank and account reconciliation related tasks.

Transactional & Expense Management

  • Assist in processing invoices, payments, or expense claims.
  • Check staff claims for accuracy and ensure they have proper supporting documentation.
  • Assist with tracking departmental expenses against established budgets.

Documentation & Project Support

  • Organize and file financial documents such as payment vouchers, receipts, invoices, and statements.
  • Participate in finance-related projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, or automation testing.

What We’re Looking For

  • Detailed minded, proactive, meticulous, and able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Language Proficiency: The ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage due to the nature of the business.
