Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deliver AI applications end-to-end: LLM integration, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and workflow automation serving APAC teams.
• Build and maintain APIs to expose AI capabilities to internal systems and business applications.
• Design AI automation workflows (n8n, Power Automate, or custom pipelines) that streamline operations across regional offices.
• Mentor junior AI developers: code reviews, pair programming, and establishing team development standards.
• Lead technical discussions with vendors and stakeholders; evaluate AI tools and proposals critically.
• Ensure production quality: testing, error handling, monitoring, and documentation.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field. Strong portfolios with production AI projects can compensate for formal education requirements.

Skills

Must-Have

• 3–5 years development experience with at least 1–2 years building AI-powered applications that are in production use.
• Python + LLM integration: Strong Python skills. Proven experience integrating LLMs via APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, and function calling / tool use.
• AI workflow automation: You’ve designed and built multi-step automated workflows incorporating AI (n8n, Power Automate, Make, or custom pipelines).
• API development: You can build REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask, etc.), not just consume them.
• AI dev tools: Proficient with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar. Can guide others in using them effectively.
• Independent delivery: You can take a business problem, design an AI solution, and deliver it end-to-end with minimal supervision.

Strong Advantage

• Cloud AI platforms (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AWS, or GCP AI services).
• AI agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen) or protocols (MCP, A2A).
• Vector databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, pgvector) for production RAG systems.
• Cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery).
• Docker and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Team leadership or mentoring experience in a professional setting.

Nice-To-Have

• ML fundamentals (model training, fine-tuning, evaluation — even if not your daily focus).
• Front-end skills (React, HTML/CSS/JS) for building AI app interfaces.
• Real-time AI: speech-to-text, translation, conversational AI systems.
• Microsoft Power Platform / Copilot Studio.
• Azure certifications or equivalent.
• APAC languages (Mandarin, Malay, Thai, Vietnamese) alongside English.
