Responsibilities:
- Understand and assess clients’ international business needs to structure effective cross-border financing solutions.
- Engage proactively with internal stakeholders on syndication opportunities and capital allocation strategies during the pre-deal phase.
- Prepare credit proposals, and term sheets for client pitches.
- Perform comprehensive credit assessments, including financial analysis and risk identification to ensure prudent loan growth and capital efficiency.
- Lead internal approval processes, including coordination with Credit Riskand presentations to GMCC / CRC / Board committees.
- Maintain a deep understanding of clients’ global strategies, organizational structures, and decision-making processes.
- Develop and execute account plans aligned with clients’ cross-border growth strategies; working closely with the Associate Director and product partners.
- Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities across Global Banking products (e.g., trade finance, FX, cash management, and capital markets).
- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards
- Proactive portfolio monitoring and reporting to maintain credit quality and early detection of potential risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance, Banking or Accounting, Engineering, Science or Mathematics.
- Experience in Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Debt Capital Markets, or experience as a relationship manager, credit officer or in a similar position.
- Strong analytical skills with good grasp of financial analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and writing skills to ensure effective delivery of credit reports and communication with stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of credit risk assessment and financial analysis.
- Sound industry or market knowledge.
