Position: Assembly Parts Technician(Body Part)

The Assembly Parts Technician is responsible for removing, preparing, assembling, installing, and aligning vehicle body and paint-related components. The role ensures that repaired vehicles are correctly reassembled and meet quality, safety, and appearance standards.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install vehicle body parts, including doors, bumpers, fenders, bonnets, tailgates, grilles, mirrors, trims, and lights.
• Assemble and fit replacement parts following repair procedures and manufacturer specifications.
• Check body panels and components for correct fitment, alignment, gaps, and finish.
• Support body repair and paint preparation activities when required.
• Reassemble vehicles after body and paint repairs.
• Inspect completed work and identify defects, damage, or incorrect fitment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and workshop equipment safely.
• Handle vehicle parts carefully to prevent damage during removal, preparation, and installation.
• Coordinate with body repair technicians, painters, estimators, and supervisors to complete jobs efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow company procedures, occupational health and safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Complete assigned work within required timeframes while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Skills Required

• Experience in automotive body repair, vehicle assembly, or body and paint operations.
• Diploma in Automotive field
• Knowledge of vehicle body components and assembly procedures.
• Good understanding of panel alignment and parts fitment.
• Ability to use automotive hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper handling of vehicles and parts.
