Responsibilities
Retail Tenancy Design
- Oversee tenancy design review and approval processes across the retail portfolio. Ensuring compliance with the Design Guide, retail design standards, customer experience objectives, and the overall positioning of each asset.
- Conduct design briefings on tenancy design requirements. Review tenancy design submissions and design refreshment requirements for lease renewals. Providing design recommendations to ensure alignment with Design Guide.
- Maintain and enhance the Design Guide to ensure continued relevance, robustness, and alignment with evolving retail trends, consumer expectations, and industry best practices.
- Keep abreast of emerging retail concepts, consumer behaviour, design trends, and industry best practices, and share relevant insights to support continuous improvement of tenancy design standards.
Retail Design (Asset Enhancement)
- Collaborate with and support the leasing team on tenancy reconfigurations, providing design recommendations to optimise space utilisation, enhance unit marketability of the units.
- Review and evaluate space planning requirements, tenancy layouts, and design proposals for new developments and Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEIs).
- Identify, assess, and recommend design-led initiatives that enhance common areas, improve customer experience, strengthen mall identity, and increase tenant visibility.
Requirements
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or any other relevant disciplines
- Team player who is adept in working collaboratively and independently where necessary to drive desired outcomes
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
