Assistance Veterinary Officer

Job Description

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining the health and welfare of livestock.
• Conduct routine health checks and identify sick or injured animals.
• Assist in administering treatments, vaccinations, medications, and preventive care as instructed.
• Support veterinary procedures, animal handling, and disease prevention activities.
• Maintain accurate records of animal health, treatments, mortality, and medication usage.
• Monitor livestock behaviour and report abnormalities or health concerns.
• Ensure proper cleanliness and hygiene of animal housing and treatment areas.
• Assist with biosecurity, disease control, and farm health management programmes.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of veterinary medicines and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Veterinary Officer or management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Veterinary Science, Animal Health, Animal Husbandry, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Passionate about animal health and livestock management.
• Able to work in a farm environment and handle animals.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
