About the role

Overseeing and managing overall operational and maintenance management services for Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre @IIUM, Kuantan.

Ensure that high quality of services is maintained by the maintenance team and subcontractors for the Hospital Support Services
Ensure the operational and maintenance expenditures are controlled within the yearly budgeted figures
Plan and provide technical advice on engineering, operational and maintenance matters to Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre @IIUM
Manage and coordinate the additional/replacement/reimbursable works requested by the Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre @IIUM
Ensure continuous training program is planned in order to meet the required core competencies and improved the service quality
Ensure compliance to the statutory requirements and all the certificates are renewed according to the contract agreement
Ensure the maintenance team and subcontractors execute the maintenance activities according to the Standard Operating Procedures
Monitor and ensure the service levels and Key Performance Indicators stipulated in the contract agreement are complied

Degree in Engineering
10 years working experience in facilities management
Hands on in HVAC systems in Hospital, Electrical systems, Asset Management & LifeCycle, Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Good leadership qualities, integrity and able to work under minimum supervision
