Job Description

The Assistant Manager, Events & Entertainment is responsible for supporting the planning, management, and execution of all Events & Entertainment creative and operational requirements. The role requires in-depth knowledge of event management and entertainment operations to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality events and experiences.

The incumbent is responsible for maintaining Events & Entertainment standards, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and providing leadership and guidance to the Events & Entertainment team. Working closely with the Manager, Events & Entertainment, the Assistant Manager ensures that all events and entertainment offerings are planned, coordinated, and executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Events & Entertainment, with a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in Events & Entertainment operations.
  • Solid knowledge of live entertainment procurement is an added advantage.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost analysis, event planning, contract management, and vendor negotiation is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, business acumen, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin/Chinese.
