Embark on a career at CARSOME, where our vision is to create the most trusted vehicle ownership ecosystem driven by technology and data. As an Assistant Manager, Group Business Performance Management, you will report to the Head of Group Performance & Planning.
You will be a key driver in monitoring the health of the business across the region. You are expected to be hands-on in managing cross-functional initiatives, working closely with Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure the Group’s performance trajectory and strategic KPIs are met.
Your Day-to-Day
- Performance Governance: Define, monitor, and drive key performance metrics across Group functions (Commercial, Supply Chain, and Operations) to ensure alignment with regional goals.
- Reporting & Visibility: Lead the design and maintenance of standardized dashboards and reporting tools to provide end-to-end visibility for Top Management and actionable insights for ground operations.
- Deep-Dive Analysis: Perform root-cause analysis on performance gaps, identifying underlying business risks, bottlenecks, or rooms for improvement that impact the Group's bottom line.
- Project Management: Track the progress of strategic initiatives; proactively identify, report, and resolve risks to ensure on-time delivery of business outcomes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present high-quality materials tailored for diverse audiences, translating complex data into clear narratives for management and operational teams.
- Operational Assistance: Support the Retail and Commercial managers in evaluating car value estimates and market trends to expedite decision-making processes.
Your Know-How
- Education: University Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related analytical field.
- Experience: 4–6 years of experience in Business Performance Management, operations strategy, management consulting, or business analytics.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Excel (Data Modelling & Visualization). Experience with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is highly preferred.
- Financial Literacy: Strong ability to read and interpret P&L statements and accounting entries to relate operational KPIs to financial performance.
- Analytical Mindset: Expert in variance analysis, KPI design, and impact measurement within a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Soft Skills: Proven ability to organize and prioritize work independently while managing stakeholders across different departments and regions.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working under pressure in an ambiguous, rapidly changing environment.
