ASSISTANT MANAGER, HSE

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field.
• Possess a valid competency certification as a HSE Officer and/or Environmental Officer.
• Completed HSE-related training or certification programs.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Construction HSE, preferably within property development projects.
• Good knowledge of OSHA & EQA regulations, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 requirements, HSE systems, and audit processes.
• Experience in site safety supervision, HSE audits, ISO documentation, and compliance monitoring.
• Good teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibility

• Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EQA, EIA, and other applicable HSE regulations.
• Conduct routine site inspections, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
• Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and guidelines across project sites.
• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Ensure assigned projects achieve targeted HSE audit scores and compliance standards.
• Provide HSE guidance, support, and training to project teams, employees, and contractors.
• Assist the HSE Manager in incident investigations and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain proper HSE documentation, records, and reports in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure continuous awareness of HSE best practices at site.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate site records and documentation to ensure HSE compliance and support audit requirements
