RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the complete cycle of application to admission matters
- Process applications and ensure that application materials are complete for review by Associate Dean (Postgraduate Research (PGR)).
- Prepare offer letters and check that admission related payments are made.
- Manage student matriculation requirements
- Prepare and update matriculation handbook.
- Manage Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) student pass applications.
- Monitor students’ academic progress at different stages
- Ensure students declare their academic track and fulfil graduation requirements.
- Track progress of students’ capstone projects.
- Administer students’ course enrolment related requests and academic term course scheduling
- Prepare and update academic handbook.
- Manage timetabling and room bookings.
- Work with the respective programmes’ managers on cross-enrolment and Registrar’s Office on course enrolment.
- Process PGR related billings such as tuition fees and track the payments
- Configure the setup in system for different cohorts and profiles of students.
- Assign award/scholarship and/or overwrite fees, where applicable.
- Work with Finance Office for billing to external organisations.
- Follow-up on late payments.
- Process students’ travel related matters such as conferences and reimbursement
- Handle conference applications.
- Manage leave requests.
- Track completion of pre-departure checklist for overseas travel.
- Check that claims are complete with supporting documents.
- Support events, seminars and exams for SCIS PGR Programmes.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience.
- Highly self-motivated individual who is mature, independent and adaptive.
- Meticulous and detail oriented.
- A strong team player with strong interpersonal & communication skills (in verbal and writing).
- Prior working experience in the similar industry would be advantageous.
