ASSISTANT, PATIENT PAYMENT (CASHIER)

Job Description

• Responsible for daily collection of cash and equivalent
• Responsible for handling over daily collections and drop into safe box upon close till. Record in the cash submission book.
• Require to drop float by daily basis and ensure float and collection are tallied with close till.
• Allocate payment receive from patients in the HITS system.
• Responsible to finalize outpatients bills by daily basis.
• Checking and finalization of outpatient bills
• Responsible for submission of dialysis bills
• Companies and Government Agencies
• Comply to cash management policies.
• Ensure the policies on patients and family’s rights are addressed at all times
• To carry out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulation 1994:

a. To take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons: b. To co-operate with your employer or any other person in the discharge of any duty; c. To wear or use any protective or measure on occupational safety and health. d. To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health.

• Ensure compliance of Patient safety goals as safety improvement measures

recommended by World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008)

• Ensure all Hospital policies and Procedures and Hospital Accreditation are adhered to and records maintained, if and when these programs are implemented.
• Adopt the policies and procedures of ISO
• 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 Malaysian Hospital Accreditation Standards and Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards
• Participate actively in any other new service that is introduced
• Ensure the policies on Patient and Family’s Rights are addressed at all times.
• Other appropriate duties as assigned by superior
