Assistant Quantity Survey Manager (Property/Showroom Renovation/Retail/Factory)

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Cost Management: Oversee cost planning, budgeting, and value engineering from design to completion.
• Tender Leadership: Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including BQ preparation, tender evaluation, and high-level negotiations.
• Contract Expertise: Draft and administer PAM/FIDIC contracts, ensuring full compliance and resolving complex claims or disputes.
• Financial Oversight: Manage progress valuations, cash flow forecasts, and final account reconciliations.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify commercial risks and develop robust mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Experience: 5-10 years of solid experience in construction or property development.
• Knowledge: Deep familiarity with FIDIC, PAM, and JKR contract forms.
• Professionalism: Professional memberships (RICS/RISM) are highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation tactics, financial acumen, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
