The Team Lead, Spare Parts Operations will oversee and coordinate spare parts management activities across CARSOME Certified Lab (CCL) and Aftersales operations, ensuring seamless inventory flow, stock accuracy, and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for leading a team in daily spare parts operations, driving compliance to processes, and supporting continuous improvement to meet business and customer needs.

Your Day-to-Day

Operational Leadership

• Lead and supervise the Spare Parts team in CCL & Aftersales to ensure timely and accurate execution of daily operations (receiving, binning, picking, packing, issuing, and stock movements).
• Monitor the flow of spare parts between CCL and Aftersales to ensure availability and readiness to support operations.
• Drive implementation of First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and other inventory best practices.
• Manage purchasing activities including issuing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and following up on delivery schedules.

Inventory Management

• Oversee inventory control activities, including regular cycle counts, stock verification, and reconciliation between physical stock and system records.
• Ensure damaged, defective, or missing parts are properly documented and escalated.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement in the inventory system to ensure traceability and reliability of data.
• Uphold 5S standards in all storage and operations areas.

People Management & Collaboration

• Supervise, train, and guide Spare Parts Executives and Store Assistants to build capability and ensure high performance.
• Work closely with Operations, Procurement, and Aftersales teams to align spare parts planning with business needs.
• Serve as the primary contact point for all spare parts inquiries and escalations from both CCL and Aftersales.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure safety, security, and compliance of all store areas according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify gaps and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize inventory usage.
• Support reporting and analysis of spare parts operations performance (e.g., lead time, accuracy, stock availability).

Your Know-How

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in warehouse/store management, inventory control, or spare parts operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory/team lead capacity.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and spare parts operations in automotive or related industries.
