Why This Role Matters
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join the Office of Clinical Informatics (OCI) in a role that sits at the intersection of clinical care and digital innovation. Working closely with the Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) and the Deputy Director/Senior Manager, OCI, you will play a meaningful part in improving patient care through the thoughtful application of clinical informatics. What You Will Drive
Analytics & Data Solutions
- Design and build analytics content for end users requiring data from the Next Generation Electronic Medical Records (NGEMR) system, translating clinical and operational needs into practical, accessible solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure analytics outputs are accurate, relevant and aligned with organisational priorities.
- Support continuous improvement of data tools and reporting capabilities to meet evolving user needs.
NGEMR Implementation & Project Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between end users and implementation teams, coordinating and carrying out project activities related to NGEMR implementation.
- Oversee key workstreams including testing, validation, training and user access management, ensuring activities are well-organised and delivered on time.
- Monitor project progress, track action items and facilitate timely resolution of issues across stakeholder groups.
Data Governance
- Support the development, implementation and management of data governance processes and policies pertaining to NGEMR and other relevant systems.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure data is managed responsibly, consistently and in accordance with established standards.
- Contribute to building a culture of data quality and accountability within the organisation.
General & Administrative Support
- Provide support to other administrative functions within OCI as needed, beyond your primary scope of work.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chairman, Medical Board (CMB), CMIO and/or Deputy Director/Senior Manager, OCI.
What You Bring
- A degree in health informatics, information technology, data analytics, healthcare management or a related discipline.
- Experience in a healthcare, clinical informatics or health IT environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly implementation or support roles, will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data needs into practical solutions.
- Excellent coordination and project management skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
- A proactive, collaborative working style with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to improving patient care through the responsible use of data and technology.
