About Us

Woodlands Hospital is a next-generation healthcare system in Singapore, designed from the ground-up to meet the future of care. As a new integrated acute and community hospital with specialist outpatient clinics and innovative care models, we go beyond traditional hospital walls to deliver person-centred, connected, and seamless care. Our mission is to redefine healthcare for a rapidly aging and diverse population, through digital innovation, preventive health, and strong partnerships with the community. With a deep commitment to team-based care, sustainability and health equity, Woodlands Hospital is not just about treating illness – we are building a healthier future for all.

Why This Role Matters

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join the Office of Clinical Informatics (OCI) in a role that sits at the intersection of clinical care and digital innovation. Working closely with the Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) and the Deputy Director/Senior Manager, OCI, you will play a meaningful part in improving patient care through the thoughtful application of clinical informatics. This is an opportunity to contribute to one of Singapore's most forward-looking healthcare institutions at a pivotal moment in its digital transformation journey.

What You Will Drive

Analytics & Data Solutions

  • Design and build analytics content for end users requiring data from the Next Generation Electronic Medical Records (NGEMR) system, translating clinical and operational needs into practical, accessible solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure analytics outputs are accurate, relevant and aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Support continuous improvement of data tools and reporting capabilities to meet evolving user needs.

NGEMR Implementation & Project Coordination

  • Serve as the primary liaison between end users and implementation teams, coordinating and carrying out project activities related to NGEMR implementation.
  • Oversee key workstreams including testing, validation, training and user access management, ensuring activities are well-organised and delivered on time.
  • Monitor project progress, track action items and facilitate timely resolution of issues across stakeholder groups.

Data Governance

  • Support the development, implementation and management of data governance processes and policies pertaining to NGEMR and other relevant systems.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure data is managed responsibly, consistently and in accordance with established standards.
  • Contribute to building a culture of data quality and accountability within the organisation.

General & Administrative Support

  • Provide support to other administrative functions within OCI as needed, beyond your primary scope of work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chairman, Medical Board (CMB), CMIO and/or Deputy Director/Senior Manager, OCI.

What You Bring

  • A degree in health informatics, information technology, data analytics, healthcare management or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a healthcare, clinical informatics or health IT environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly implementation or support roles, will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data needs into practical solutions.
  • Excellent coordination and project management skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
  • A proactive, collaborative working style with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to improving patient care through the responsible use of data and technology.
