JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional certification in Program/Project Management (PgMP, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe) is highly preferred.
- 8–12 years of program/project management experience within banking, fintech, or financial services.
- Familiar with Bank Negara Malaysia’s guidelines, Technology Risk Management (TRM), and audit requirements
- Knowledge of governance frameworks, risk controls, and cybersecurity compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program & Project Governance
- Establish and enforce program management frameworks, standards, and reporting structures.
- Ensure all projects secure approvals from the respective governance committees (e.g., PSC, ITSC, ALCO, BRCC, MANCO etc) before commencement.
- Verify that all processes follow internal governance, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Present progress updates, risk assessments, and program reviews to Head, Digital Banking and relevant committees.
Delivery & Execution Management
- Lead multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery is on scope, within timeline, and budget.
- Manage program-level schedules, milestones, and interdependencies across sections.
- Monitor resource allocation, adjusting priorities to meet delivery requirements.
- Coordinate deployment activities including SIT, UAT, penetration testing, production readiness, and go-live rollout.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
- Act as the central communication point across all Digital Banking sections.
- Manage effective communication and collaboration with vendors, technology partners, and consultants.
- Ensure vendor deliverables meet contractual obligations, SLAs, and project requirements.
- Maintain strong working relationships with section heads and governance committees.
Financial & Resource Oversight
- Track and monitor program budgets, expenditures, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure alignment of budget approvals with Business Planning and Finance, and escalation to committees when required.
- Optimize utilization of resources (people, systems, and vendors) across all projects.
