Duties & Responsibilities

To operate and maintain boilers and ancillaries at optimum efficiency and ensure uninterrupted steam supply to plant.
To oversee fuel oil installation, water supply system including water pump installation and water tank.
Coordinate and ensure to have sufficient workforce for smooth running of boiler dept.
To ensure the boiler fuel loading activities are running smoothly and timely storage is done.
Develop and maintain documentation and specifications of all meter reading as per requirements.
To ensure to operate boilers in safe and approved manner.
To service boilers and ancillaries as per service schedule.
To oversee fuel oil, water and steam systems and to ensure safety is observed in these areas.
To supervise the boiler assistant on duty and direct him in his work.
Identify areas where specifications & procedures are lacking or lack compliance.
Motivate the work force to optimize productivity, quality improvement and efficiency.
Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate Superior.
The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure/ instruction. Maintain equipment tagging in the fields.
