As a Brand Manager, you will be responsible for the Dairy & Confectionery category, building strong brands, understanding consumers deeply and driving sustainable business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute brand strategies, innovation plans and engaging consumer experiences.

A Day in the Life of Brand Manager

Consumer & Brand Understanding

- Develop and update the consumer portrait and consumer engagement funnel for your brand.

- Translate consumer and shopper insights into relevant brand strategies and initiatives.

- Activate the Brand Essence and ensure consistent brand building across key touchpoints.

- Monitor brand performance and identify opportunities to drive market share and business growth.

Product, Innovation & Renovation

- Manage the 60/40+ agenda, packaging, NHW and other product experience initiatives for your brand.

- Contribute to the innovation and renovation pipeline, ensuring launches are relevant to consumer needs.

- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver innovation projects on time and in line with business objectives.

Shopper & Commercial Strategy

- Understand the in-store environment and contribute to category strategy.

- Provide recommendations on pricing and promotional strategies.

- Propose relevant SKUs and channel strategies based on shopper and customer needs.

- Support the development of initiatives that strengthen the brand across key channels and customers.

Brand Planning & Execution

- Contribute to the development and execution of the brand and Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) plan.

- Track brand performance, investment and key business KPIs.

- Manage brand investments including PFME and TTS to ensure effective use of resources.

- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Consumer Insights, Digital and other stakeholders to deliver plans effectively.

Communication & Consumer Engagement

- Contribute to the development of OBIs, Big Ideas and consumer engagement strategies.

- Partner with communication agencies to develop engaging brand experiences.

- Ensure brand communication is consistent with the brand strategy and Nestlé's commitment to being a trusted Nutrition, Health and Wellness leader.

- Communicate and collaborate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders across relevant business functions.

What Will Make You Successful

- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field. An MBA would be an added advantage.

- 2–3 years of experience in Brand Management, ideally within FMCG.

- Strong proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory, as the role requires regular communication and collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

- Proficiency in Cantonese and Bahasa Malaysia would be an added advantage.

- Experience working in cross-functional teams.

- Strong understanding of consumers, shoppers and the commercial environment.

- Good analytical and project management skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.

- Strong brand management, consumer marketing and innovation capabilities.

- Able to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight timelines.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Proactive, results-oriented and able to take initiative.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
