Buyer / Senior Buyer

RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY:

• Perform supplier sourcing, evaluation, assessment and selection, negotiation, performance monitoring on purchase material.
• To ensure daily released Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order to vendor.
• Monitory purchase delivery schedule based on demand trend.
• To ensure all the purchases in right source, quality, quantity, delivery and price.
• Analyzes material market dynamics/trends and price environment in order to manage price risk in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain and possess good communication with vendor and continuous improvement for the vendor management.
• Support inventory management in order to ensure a high delivery capacity with a minimum of inventory.
• Performance supplier audit and on-site survey with department head.
• Deal with suppliers on any quality issues, products replacement, products sample request.
• Ensure proper maintenance of purchasing documentation and records.
• Perform Store and inventory Management (Senior Buyer).
• Any other duties assigned by superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor Degree, Professional Degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• At least 2 year of working experience in the manufacturing environment is required.
• Possess good staying power with ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Ability to read and analyze Information.
• Can adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines.
• Knowledge in ERP, MRP or SAP will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Excel, Word and Power Point.
• Knowledge in Store , Logistic, custom dealing and LMW are added advantage.
