The client is an expert in automation and digital systems for pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing, seeking to hire a yearly contract renewable C&Q Engineer across various disciplines.
Your new role
- We are seeking an experienced Lead / C&Q Engineer, you will play a critical role in major pharmaceutical and life-science projects.
- Perform C&Q execution activities in compliance with approved CQEPs and project plans.
- Develop commissioning strategies, protocols, and procedures.
- Coordinate closely with HSE, Automation, Electrical, Instrumentation, Operations, and Engineering teams.
- Manage C&Q documentation, discrepancy tracking, and remediation activities.
- Support change control processes and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Maintain EHS compliance throughout commissioning activities.
- Conduct construction walkdowns and manage Mechanical Completion snag/punch list closure.

What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Process Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Familiarity with Risk-Based Validation methodologies and regulatory compliance within cGMP environments.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on CQV field execution experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated industries.
