Job Description
As a Corporate Credit Specialist, you will manage credit cases by speaking directly with Corporate Card Members & Program Admin through inbound, outbound calls and emails. You will analyze credit situations, negotiate appropriate solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service while protecting American Express from credit risk.
This is a client-facing credit operations role requiring regular outbound calls with Corporate Card Members across Australia/New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong. It is not a back-office credit analysis role.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound, outbound calls and emails from our Corporate Clients whose accounts are flagged as credit cases to be worked on by team members
- Negotiate with Card members or Client companies to determine the best course of action and gain agreement for both short and long-term solutions.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), Cantonese and Mandarin for Singapore and Hong Kong markets.
- Prior experience in customer service, call centers, hospitality, or sales is preferred. We also welcome fresh graduates who have demonstrated strong communication skills and exposure to customer interactions.
- Experience in credit, risk, collections, or related financial services operations is an advantage.
- Experience supporting premium or corporate clients, preferably across ANZ, Singapore, and Hong Kong markets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude and growth mindset.
