Cosmetologist (Casual)

Job Summary:

The Cosmetologist in Costuming Ops, Design & Production supports RWS Entertainment productions by providing hair, makeup and prosthetics services, including application, quick changes, and presets during performances. The role involves monitoring inventory, maintaining stock levels and ensuring timely upkeep and replacement of cosmetology items to support show readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check and document hair, make-up and prosthetics stocks and inventory to ensure optimal supply.
• Monitor and maintain hair, make-up and prosthetics or request for maintenance as appropriate.
• Render cosmetology services to support RWS Show Experience productions. Services include application, quick change, preset and standard wardrobe track duties.

Required Qualifications:

• GCE N/O/A Levels, relevant ITE Certificate or Diploma.

Skills / Attributes:

• Good knowledge of hair/wig styling (hair teasing, braiding, extensions and chignons), makeup techniques (beauty, theatre, special effects), painting techniques and fabrication.
• Proven specialised make-up skills, wig maintenance skills and basic design skills.
• Skilled in application and use of prosthetics.
• Proven desire and willingness to learn new skills and craft techniques.
• Team player with good interpersonal and people skills.
• High attention to detail and precision to ensure cosmetology standards are met.
• Able to perform shift work, and willing to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Able to stand for long hours and work in an environment where there can be hot, humid and wet weather.
