Credit (Loan) Operations Officer

Your new company

An established regional APAC bank, with significant operations in Singapore, is looking to add to its operations team with a new Credit (Loan) Operations Officer. This is an ideal position for a junior applicant with 2–5 years of experience handling credit documentation and loan administration.

Your new role

• Reviewing legal documentation under bilateral and syndicated credit facilities and facility letters to ensure terms and conditions are in line with credit approvals.
• Able to accurately interpret the Facility Agreement in determining allowance of requested transactions.
• Examine customer's utilisation requests relating to bilateral and syndication loan credit facilities and ensure that facility limits and all conditions precedent are met before loan disbursement.
• Perform all aspects of loan drawdowns, rollovers and collection of principal repayments and interest payments for both bilateral and syndicated loans.
• Interact with Relationship Managers when required in following up on outstanding matters and/or documentation from them.
• Perform AML / KYC checks.
• Prepare swift payments for loan disbursements.
• Ensure proper record and safe keeping of loan-related documents.
• Processing of Bank Guarantees/ Letter of Credits.
• Preparation of local, regulatory and Head Office reports.
• Work with IT Teams on system upgrades and UAT roll-outs.
• Take on work-related projects and other duties as assigned by Management.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree holder
• 3 or more years of working experience in handling credit documentation and loan administration
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills, ability to multitask
• Strong computer skills including MS Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
• Pleasant personality, good working attitude and proactive
