Data Center Construction Manager - Data Center Development

About the team The Datacenter Development team is responsible for site selection, acquisition and delivery. As the Data center Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular site inspections for ongoing construction of data centers, ensuring all projects are completed on time and with high quality standards based on the region's best practices.
• Responsible in technical review for data center infrastructure construction methodology from DC Providers
• Responsible in setting up construction best practices framework for optimization of resources in respective regions and enforcing the implementation on sites.
• Maintain clear and consistent communications with internal stakeholders for projects update
• Identify timeline and quality risk throughout the project life cycle.
• Work closely with design, operation and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth handover process.
• Support and participate in the site selection related tasks in the region.
• Supports the EHS team in identifying key risks and ensuring DC Providers adhere to all safety regulations and protocols at site.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or equivalent with experience in a similar field.
• Proven years of field experience in constructions, preferably good familiarity with construction methods, materials and regulations.
• Able to lead and plan construction activities according to the best industry practices
• Good computer literacy in Microsoft Office and able to work independently
• Good team player and adaptable to highly dynamic environment

Preferred Qualification:

• Strong understanding of building codes, construction plans and good knowledge in various construction methodologies
