Data Scientist Executive (Decision Intelligence)

Key Responsibilities:
- What-if Simulation
- Develop simulation models to evaluate business scenarios.
- Assess impact of pricing, display, and stock changes.
- Allocation Optimization
- Design optimization models for inventory allocation across stores.
- Balance constraints such as stock availability, demand, and capacity.
- Dashboarding and Analytics
- Create and maintain analytics that is impactful and able to drive business on various platform eg. dashboard.
- Prediction and Forecast Models (Added Advantage)
- Build and maintain forecasting models.
- Model Evaluation (Added Advantage)
- Evaluate model accuracy by using suitable metrics.
- Data Analysis
- Collects, cleans, and analyzes data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to improve procurement strategies.
- Process Improvement (Added Advantage)
- Identifies process gaps, proposing solutions and build the solution to improve work efficiency.
- Any Other Tasks as Assigned
Requirements:
- Able to think from business perspective first.
- A background in analytics, business, economics, engineering, mathematics, or related fields.
- 1–2 years of experience in retail, supply chain, FMCG, or procurement is preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools, Python (pandas, sklearn)) and structured thinking.
- Strong ability to communicate analytical findings to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
