As an EIPIC teacher, your ability to make a positive impact in the lives of children with special needs will be second to none. You willbe playing a leading role in helping your young charges enhance and maximize their developmental growth potential while minimizing the onset of secondary disabilities.

Job Description

  • Lead a class and accommodate the diverse needs of young children.
  • Modify instruction and make adaptations
  • Be familiar with positive reinforcement and behavioural management strategies
  • Plan and write children’s IEP and term progress reports.
  • Implement special educational strategies and techniques during lesson.
  • Establish clear objectives for all lessons and communicate those objectives to students.
  • Maintain accurate and complete daily student record.
  • Provide different variety of instructional practices
  • Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Special Education (Special needs Early Intervention)
  • Minimum two years of teaching experience in the Special Education field
  • High tolerance level towards children is an advantage
  • Able to work well independently as well as within a team
