- Assist the SHO in ensuring plant-wide environmental, safety, and health audit activities are conducted effectively and comply with applicable legal requirements.
- Conduct routine safety inspections in production, assembly, warehouse, and engineering areas (at least four hours per day).
- Conduct field data collection and compliance monitoring to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Support risk assessments, including HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control).
- Identify unsafe acts and conditions and report findings for corrective action.
- Assist in incident investigations and monitor incident trends and related data.
- Assist the EHS Engineer in following up on action items identified during safety site walkabouts.
- Assist in conducting safety training programs for new and existing employees in collaboration with production and assembly trainers.
- Support the organization and delivery of toolbox talks and safety awareness programs.
- Monitor the Scheduled Waste Management System.
- Monitor and ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by employees and contractors.
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety requirements during installation, maintenance, and other site activities.
- Serve as a first responder during emergencies, particularly safety-related incidents.
- Assist with day-to-day EHS activities and related documentation.
- Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
- To comply with all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines.
