Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining, enhancing and repairing electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring
- Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards
- Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
- Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspection and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
- Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
- Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental procedures and regulations regulated by DOSH.
- To perform other duties as assigned from time to time by the Department Head.
- Be able to support a flexible work schedule that includes overtime, shift changes, and emergency call-in.
Job Requirements
- Able to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
- Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
- Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Knowledge in Siemens PLC would be an advantage

- SKM Level 2 or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician
