Job Summary
Focuses on high-quality BIM delivery and ensuring that the digital model is optimised for the project’s requirements and well intergrated into the overall project Plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Possess strong technical skills in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D, ArchiCAD) and are heavily involved in the creation, management, and maintenance of detailed 3D models.
- Play a key role in implementing and maintaining BIM standards, protocols, and workflows within the project team, also to ensure consistency across different disciplines and models.
- Work closely with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and other design disciplines to coordinate models and ensure design intent is accurately represented in the BIM model.
- Create various project deliverables from the BIM models, such as drawings, schedules, reports, and visual presentations.
- Responsible for the organization, accuracy, and integrity of the data embedded within the BIM models.
- Leverage BIM tools for in-depth analysis and simulations, such as clash detection, constructability reviews, quantity take-offs (5D BIM), and scheduling (4D BIM).
- To work with BIM-related technologies, such as laser scanning, point cloud data, or augmented reality (AR)/virtual reality (VR) and integrate them into the BIM workflow.
- To work with rendering software, such as Lumion, 3ds Max, Infraworks,.etc and ensure the rendered files are suitable to be used for presentation or tendering purposes.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members on BIM software issues and processes whenever necessary.
- Keeping up-to-date with new BIM-related software and processes, and making recommendations for project improvements.
- To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
- Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree Certificate in Architecture/ Engineering or equivalent.
- Construction Industry knowledge in multiple disciplines and significant experience in BIM coordination or project management.
Skills & Abilities
Competencies Required
- Proficient in BIM software (Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, Civil3D, etc.)
- Knowledge in others 3D modelling software, eg. SketchUp, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor may be considered.
- In depth knowledge of BIM Concepts and Standards (ISO19650).
- In depth knowledge of BIM coordination processes.
- Construction Industry knowledge in multiple disciplines.
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency deploying and managing BIM model authoring software.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and protocols, such as COBie, IFC, and BIM Execution Plans
- Knowledge of advanced Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methods.
- Software certification in Autodesk or Bentley (added advantage).

- Ability to manage complex data sets.
- Ability to analyse and resolve complex BIM-related issues.
- Good communication and coordination skills are also necessary for collaborating with the BIM team and coordinating with other project stakeholders.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
