Role

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Plan daily compounding and chemical preparation based on product requirements.
2. Monitor and update latex consumption on a daily and monthly basis to ensure accurate inventory control.
3. Plan and manage the usage of compounding chemicals and latex to support production requirements efficiently.
4. Ensure a continuous supply of compounded latex to dipping lines while meeting all standard quality specifications.
5. Conduct formulation improvements to enhance glove quality while optimizing production costs.
6. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production lines, including production output, operational costs, glove quality, and downtime.
7. Initiate and implement continuous improvement and innovation projects to enhance product quality, increase operational efficiency, and reduce manufacturing costs.
8. Ensure the smooth operation of production lines by identifying, analyzing, and troubleshooting production issues in a timely manner.
9. Manage SAP compounding transactions and ensure accurate system updates and inventory records.

Job Requirements

1. Degree in Chemical Engineering / Polymer Engineering / Science Related or equivalent from reputable universities.
2. Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
3. Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.
4. Pleasant personality and able to interact all level of people.
