Engineer, Former & Iets

Role

1. Manage the former stock; purchase of new formers, reglazing of worn out formers, transfer of formers between factory and disposal of broken formers.
2. Ensure good and clean condition formers are provided to production line.
3. Work together with production and planning to plan schedule for the changing of formers at production line.
4. Manage the usage and servicing of former holders as well as purchase of former holder spare parts.
5. Conduct stock take of formers and former holders at the end of each month.
6. Manage former workers to ensure good attendance, discipline and quality of work.
7. Troubleshoot, find root cause and come out corrective/preventive action on quality issue.
8. Monitor worker on online former process such as (sorting out defective former, conveyor chain oiling, downline tasks etc).
9. Train foreign workers on safety, quality issues etc (former dept).
10. Carry out improvement project related to former jobscopes.
11. Ensure all production process comply with ISO9001/13485/14001 standards, and operators follow all safety compliances and SOPs.
12. Liaise with supplier and R&D team for improvement of former quality and other innovative ways for continuous improvement projects.
13. Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate superior.
14. The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure/ instruction.

Job Requirements

1. Degree holder with any related field of study or equivalent from reputable universities.
2. Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
3. Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.
4. Pleasant personality and able to interact all level of peoples.
