- Develop and improve the quality of vendors/suppliers to achieve company quality objectives.
- Manage part qualification and incoming quality control to achieve company quality objectives.
- Upgrade IQC members’ skills and capability.
- Handle quality issue about incoming parts.
Key Responsibility
- Lead the IQC inspection system for electronic and mechanical parts, ensuring alignment with quality standard and engineering specifications.
- Work closely with the IQC supervisor to coordinate day-to-day IQC activities, including inspection scheduling, method enforcement, and operational discipline.
- Drive continuous improvement in IQC inspection efficiency (TAT), accuracy and equipment effectiveness.
- Review and approve incoming material specifications and inspection criteria for electronic components in coordination with Engineering and Procurement teams.
- Investigate and manage supplier-related non-conformances for electronic components, including issuing reject reports (SIR), performing root cause analysis, and verifying corrective actions.
- Serve as the technical interface for electronic component suppliers, supporting part qualification, specification alignment, and supplier performance tracking.
- Support NPI and ECN implementation by ensuring inspection readiness and part qualification coverage.
- Maintain and analyze IQC inspection data, identifying trends and recommending proactive countermeasures.
- Collaborate with the Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) team for supplier audits or improvement activities specifically involving electronic components.
- Support ISO 9001, ISO 45001 management system requirements from the perspective of incoming material quality.
