Engineer, R&D & Production

Duties & Responsibilities

• 01) To study and understand glove manufacturing processes in order to support the implementation of process optimisation.
• 02) To assess and review existing production parameters to see if more re-engineering / improvement / innovation plans need to be implemented in order to maintain glove quality.
• 03) To study and implement new process control, optimisation, re-engineering, improvement or innovation plans that can reduce cost of production and improve glove quality in lined with company's business direction.
• 04) Study and implement new formulation to improve on glove quality and productivity.
• 05) Develop value added products to cater customer requirement and to comply with regulatory bodies.
• 06) Conducts study on product modification on lab scale and supporting scale up until production scale in terms of glove producing process and its raw materials for cost reduction.
• 07) Continuously conduct cost down activities with existing chemical supplies.
• 08) Recommend to management on new raw materials and new suppliers that can reduce cost of production and improve glove quality in line with company's business direction.
• 09)Work closely with Production colleagues to monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of plant.
• 10) Shall take additional responsibilities as instructed by the immediate superior.

Job Requirements

• 01) Degree holder with any related field of study or equivalent from reputable universities.
• 02) Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
• 03) Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.
• 04) Pleasant personality and able to interact all level of people.
