Executive, Claims Recovery - IncomeShield

Summary

Life & Health Operations (LHO) is responsible for managing all aspects of life and health insurance policies, including policy issuance and management, claims settlement and customer service. LHO ensures that policyholders receive the necessary support throughout the policy lifecycle, from application to payout.

Claims recovery is one of our continuous efforts to manage claims cost for our health insurance, IncomeShield. As a Case Specialist, you will contact our IncomeShield customers and help them with the submission of their hospitalisation claims to third party insurers. You will also contact third party insurers to check their payment details and allocate these payments to their respective IncomeShield claims.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities include:

• Contact customers to educate them about seeking third party claim recovery for their IncomeShield claims;
• Assist the customers, wherever possible, in their third party claim recovery journey;
• Build relationship with the customers to secure future third party claim recoveries;
• Attend to enquiries raised by customers relating to their IncomeShield claims;
• Check payment details made by third party insurers to allocate these payments correctly to their respective claim;
• Undertake any other duties and projects assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Possess a Degree/Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in the insurance industry with relevant insurance qualifications will be advantageous
• Customer centric with good customer servicing skills
• Team player and self-motivated
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Meticulous with a keen eye for details
