Executive, Corporate Sales (East Malaysia)
Report To
Assistant Manager, East Malaysia Sales
Position Summary
Support the Assistant Manager, East Malaysia Sales, in the acquisition, development, and ongoing management of corporate accounts across assigned market. This includes identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering tailored travel solutions that meet client needs. The role also contributes to the planning and execution of sales initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and strengthening Malaysia Airlines’ position in the corporate segment.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and Grow Accounts:
Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, driving revenue growth, meeting contractual targets, and achieving overall corporate sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management:
Develop and implement account management plans, conduct regular performance reviews, and engage clients proactively to strengthen relationships and increase Malaysia Airlines’ share of wallet.
- Performance Analysis:
Analyze clients’ travel spend and behaviour to identify growth opportunities, enhance contract performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Contract Implementation:
Support the team in contract implementation activities to ensure operational excellence and compliance with RFP and contractual requirements.
- Sales Support & Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate contract execution, including fare filing, fare and ticketing instructions, and related documentation, ensuring smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Area of Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in corporate or B2B sales, preferably within the aviation, travel, or service industry.
- Proven track record in managing client portfolios and meeting revenue targets.
- Good understanding of sales processes, contract management, and account development strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with CRM tools is an advantage.
