Job Description:
- Report directs to Head of Department Supply Chain.
- Organize, plan and direct Logistic Department activities to meet the customer’s need and demand, shipment/ delivery schedule.
- Ensure all Logistic Department personnel are properly trained in all related job function and computerized system, in carrying out their duties at the optimum level.
- To maintain the content/ records and implementation of all related work manual/s, procedure/s and work instruction/s in the Logistic Department reflective of ISO Standard, FSSC System etc.
- Initiate quality improvement and cost saving program, investigation of any non-conformities or discrepancies and ensure the effectiveness of all procedural implementation that may be implemented by the company from time to time.
- Act for the Department Head in Planning and Logistic matters and undertake any other duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time.
- Ensure all machineries consign to the Logistic Department are at the utmost performance level by ensuring on time servicing, calibration and maintenance.
- To ensure efficient coordination with Installation, Quality Controller/s, Supplier (CPKO/ CPO), Customer/s and Transporter on the movement of product.
- Ensure timeliness and quality of documentation preparation, distribution, recovery and filing within the Logistics Department.
- To ensure the availability of tank/s at the port installation and carry out all activities that supports the export and shipment of local delivery.
- To ensure contracts are completely execute relating to local delivery, ex-installation and ex-refinery.
- To implement and execute together with the company appointed transporter on all transportation matters related to delivery/ collection.
- To ensure timely delivery of all dispatch/ collection information for invoicing within the company’s guideline/s.
- To liaise with Quality Control for final shore tank quality before confirmation to Shipping Section for execution of shipment.
- To check all contracts for oil receiving and dispatches before physical transfer to ensure right quantity, quality and payment terms.
- To ensure timely issuance of invoices and submit to customer once delivery completed.
- To ensure all the sales and purchased contracts are fulfil based on the contractual period
- To comply to all the implementation of Management systems requirement.
- To undertake any other functions as may be delegated from time to time.
Job Requirement
- Degree in any Management / Logistics / Maritime / related field
- Experience in manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Leadership qualities, able to work independently, good interpersonal & communication skills.
