Responsibilities:
- Investigate and manage various enquiries, complaints, and regulatory cases received from the MPFA, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Liaise directly with the MPFA, trustees, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to clarify case details, provide updates, and resolve operational issues.
- Identify system defects, operational issues, and enhancement opportunities, and work closely with IT, system vendors, and business users to drive issue resolution.
- Design, review, and recommend improvements to operational workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare regulatory reports, management reports, and case analyses with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives to improve operational processes, service quality, and overall team performance.
- Support system enhancement projects, including requirement gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), process validation, and implementation.
- Assist supervisors in project coordination, management reporting, and other ad hoc assignments as required.
- Handle time-sensitive cases and escalations while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and service quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- 1–3 years of working experience in operations, compliance, risk management, regulatory reporting, financial services, or a related field is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong analytical abilities are encouraged to apply.
- Able perform well in a high-pressure environment against tight timelines.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese to effectively communicate with Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking internal or external parties.
- Knowledge of compliance, regulatory reporting, pension administration, or the financial services industry is an advantage.
- Independent, analytical, meticulous and self-motivated.
- Willingness to work on Malaysia public holidays, following the Hong Kong public holiday schedule.
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (full day). Saturday is a half day, subject to business needs.
- 100% work in office.
- This is a 1 year contract position, with the possibility of renewal or conversion to a permanent role based on performance.
