ComfortDelGro Insurance Brokers Pte Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ComfortDelGro Group, and its principal activities relate to risk protection and transfer solutions through the disciplines of insurance broking, employee benefits consulting, risk management operations, claims and loss management and customised solutions. It proposes and implements solutions involving a blend of traditional insurance products, alternative risk financing instruments and methods to help the Group mitigate any risks faced in an increasingly complex environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Managers in the day-to-day servicing of corporate accounts
• Assist to conduct pre-renewal exercise, review clients current program structure and ascertain new requirements, approach and strategy
• Check policy documents against placement slips to ensure accuracy and completedness in wordings and coveraged issued by underwriters including billing of assigned accounts
• Assist in new business acquisition, renewal exercise, source quotations and do comparisons
• Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers, clients and colleagues through regular contact and liaison
• Meet with clients for follow-up servicing and renewals. Ensure clients' needs are identified and implement successful account retention and defence strategies
• Assist to prepare claims reports as requested by clients
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance and all regulatory requirements including complying with MAS rules and regulations

Job Requirements

• Insurance qualifications (minimium CGI) or a related discipline
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to work independently as well as contribute as a team player
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an insurance broker or working in the insurance industry
