Import Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare, review, and maintain import shipping documents such as:
- Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Certificate of Origin
- Insurance Certificate
- Import Licenses / Permits (if applicable)
- Ensure all documents comply with customs regulations, trade laws, and company policies.
- Coordinate with customs brokers/clearing agents for smooth customs clearance.
Shipping & Logistics Coordination
- Track import shipments and update internal teams on shipment status.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and transporters.
- Monitor vessel schedules, ETAs, delays, and documentation cut-off dates.
- Arrange delivery of goods from port/airport to warehouse.
Vendor & Internal Coordination
- Liaise with overseas suppliers for timely receipt of correct shipping documents.
- Communicate with finance/accounts team for duty payments, freight invoices, and reconciliation.
- Support inventory and warehouse teams with shipment-related information.
Records & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of import shipments and documentation.
- Prepare shipment reports, cost summaries, and exception reports as required.
- Handle document archiving for audits and internal reference.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain or similar qualification;
- Computer literate & Knowledge in JD Edwards Software will be added advantage;
- At least 1-3 years working experience, those with knowledge in Trading will be added advantage;
- Advanced analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
