  • Full-time

Your new company

A family office managing the global assets of an ultra-high-net-worth family. Funds operate under the MAS Section 13U tax incentive scheme, investing in public markets, real estate and so on.

Your new role

A very hands-on, commercially astute and technically strong Financial Controller to own and run the full finance, accounting and reporting function. You will be both a trusted partner to the principal and management and a meticulous operator responsible for the integrity of our financial information across multiple entities, jurisdictions, currencies and asset classes. In addition, you will be the guardian of our 13U compliance, ensuring the fund continues to meet MAS's economic-substance, AUM and other conditions year after year.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with a professional qualification such as CA (Singapore), CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Approximately 10–15+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally combining external audit experience (Big 4 preferred) with in-house finance leadership experience.
  • Strong exposure to direct investment accounting will be a plus.
  • Deep technical accounting expertise, including SFRS/IFRS, group consolidations, and managing complex multi-entity and multi-currency structures.
  • Proven experience in investment and portfolio accounting, including reconciliation of custodian and private bank statements, and working closely with external fund administrators.
  • Sound knowledge of Singapore corporate tax, GST, and statutory compliance requirements, including ACRA and IRAS filings.
  • A hands-on, proactive and self-driven approach, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a lean, entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, mentor and develop high-performing finance teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple countries, cultures and levels of seniority.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity and discretion, with proven experience handling confidential and sensitive financial information.
