Your new company
Our client is an international logistics and supply chain business delivering reliable, efficient and commercially focused solutions to customers across global markets. Operating across multiple geographies, entities and business environments, the organisation manages a complex and highly coordinated operating model. Success depends on close collaboration between logistics operations, commercial teams, finance, shared services and corporate functions to deliver consistent, high-quality support to customers. As the business continues to grow and evolve, it is investing in its systems, processes, governance and management information to support greater scalability, transparency and performance. This includes strengthening financial integration, improving decision-making and developing a more connected, commercially focused way of working. The organisation offers an excellent environment for professionals who enjoy working in an international, fast-paced and operationally complex business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, influence meaningful change and make a direct contribution to the organisation’s resilience, performance and sustainable growth.
Your new role
This is a high-impact Financial Controller opportunity for a senior finance leader looking to step beyond traditional controllership and take genuine ownership of a division’s financial direction and performance. As the principal finance partner to the division’s leadership team, you will lead the finance function and play a pivotal role in shaping business decisions, driving performance and supporting the next phase of growth.
The mandate is broad and highly commercial. You will translate business strategy into actionable financial plans, provide management with clear insight into performance, and bring the right level of commercial challenge to key decisions. Alongside this, you will maintain strong financial stewardship across liquidity, controls, governance and risk. A key part of the role will also be driving financial integration and transformation, strengthening processes and ways of working while supporting the turnaround and sustainable growth of the business.
You will lead the divisional finance team while partnering closely with Group and central finance functions, including Group Consolidation, Credit Control, Global Shared Services and Internal Control, ensuring the division’s priorities are effectively represented and supported. This would suit a commercially minded finance leader who combines strong controller fundamentals with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, navigate transformation and operate as a true business partner.
