Finance Team Lead

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage, train and mentor a team of finance staff in discharging the day-to-day functions, in areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, inventory, GST and fixed assets
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing of accounts
• Implement financial policies and procedures and ensure internal controls are in place
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and any other regulatory requirements
• Prepare and review monthly journal posting, inventory financial reports and schedules
• Continuous review and improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Liaise with auditors, customers/vendors and any other parties where necessary
• Attend inventory stock take

Job Requirements:

• Relevant degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading a finance team
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
