Job Description
This exciting role is responsible for end-to-end fixed asset process. You will collaborate with Business Unit Finance Team and engaged to ensure completeness and accuracy of fixed asset records. You'll also work with Group FP&A to ensure accuracy of group reporting. You will report to Fixed Assets Manager
You'll have a understanding of accounting standard and concept. Prior experience and demonstrated capability in proactive resolving issues with team member. Having a track record of involvement or lead in projects. We're after a people person that's confident and skilled at analyst information and aligning business request to accounting standard and company policy.
What You'll Do
- You will perform monthly reconciliations with medium to high complexity ratings. Research variances and prepares adjustments to correct account balances
- Help prepare audit schedules.
- Interface a variety of sub-ledgers into the general ledger system. Produce reports and verify account accuracy.
- You will need to manage the full fixed asset process which include addition, retirement, transfers and into Fixed Asset subledger system.
- Participate in month end and year end closing
- Review automated journal entries, prepares and post standard journal entries to the general ledger
- Engage and respond with tax department, internal and external auditors requests.
- Identify and kickstart process improvements opportunity to improve procedures and job processes.
- Communicate with management.
- Perform specific project when required.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- More than 2 years relevant in accounting working experience is required for this position
- Experienced and intellectually curiosity
- Proven organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Experience and familiarity with accounting system software
