Key Responsibilities

The Human Capital Business Partner – Global Corporate is a member of the Corporate HCBP team, providing HC partnership to designated Global Corporate Functions and their leadership teams. The role supports the delivery of the Corporate people agenda across talent, performance, workforce planning, organisation effectiveness and employee relations, working closely with the Team Lead, Corporate HCBP, HC Centres of Excellence and HC Operations.

The role also provides local HC partnership and operations support for Singapore-based Global Corporate employees whose Global HCBP is based out of Europe, ensuring effective coordination between global HC priorities and local HC requirements.

Human Capital Business Partnering

  • Partner with designated Global Corporate Functions to understand business priorities and translate these into effective people solutions.
  • Provide HC advice and support across workforce planning, organisation design, talent, performance, employee engagement and employee relations.
  • Coach and advise people managers on people-related matters and proactively identify workforce risks and opportunities.
  • Escalate significant or sensitive matters to the Team Lead and work collaboratively on appropriate solutions.

Talent & Organisation Effectiveness

  • Actively enable capability building, including talent acquisition for critical capability areas
  • Support talent reviews, succession planning and development of key talent and critical roles.
  • Drive effective performance management within supported functions.
  • Support organisation design, restructuring and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Partner with HC CoEs on capability, leadership and organisational effectiveness priorities.

Local HC Partnering & HC Operations Support

  • Act as the local HC point of contact for Singapore-based Global Corporate employees whose primary HCBP is based in Europe
  • Work closely with the Europe-based HCBP to ensure seamless delivery of HC support across jurisdictions.
  • Provide local advice on Singapore employment practices and support employee lifecycle activities.
  • Coordinate with HC Operations, Payroll and HC CoEs on local HC processes and employee matters.
  • Support local employee relations matters and escalate complex cases as appropriate.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build effective relationships with functional leaders and people managers within assigned Corporate Functions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Team Lead, Europe-based Global HCBP, HC CoEs and HC Operations to provide integrated HC solutions.
  • Maintain appropriate HC governance, confidentiality and data integrity

Key Requirements

  • With more than 6 years of progressive Human Capital experience, including significant HCBP experience.
  • Experience supporting corporate/professional functions within a multinational organisation preferred.
  • Experience working in a matrixed or multi-country HC environment is highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of Singapore employment practices and HC operations.
  • Strong knowledge across talent, performance management, employee relations, organisation design and workforce planning.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
  • Commercially aware, pragmatic and solutions-oriented, with sound judgement and discretion.
  • Ability to balance strategic HC partnership with hands-on execution.
