A well-established organisation within the industrial sector is seeking an experienced HR manager to oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources functions. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with senior stakeholders while leading a team responsible for HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, rewards, and workforce engagement across a diverse workforce.
Your new role
As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end HR operations and ensuring the effective delivery of people initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, mobility, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Acting as the key advisor on employee and industrial relations matters, managing investigations, disciplinary cases, grievance handling, and union engagements.
- Driving recruitment activities and workforce planning initiatives in partnership with business leaders.
- Managing annual performance management cycles, talent reviews, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
- Supporting compensation and benefits programmes, including salary reviews, bonus exercises, market benchmarking, and reward recommendations.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, internal policies, and governance requirements.
- Driving employee engagement, organisational culture, change management, and communication initiatives.
- Leading and developing the HR team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related discipline.
- 8-12 years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong experience across HR operations, employee relations, industrial relations, recruitment, and performance management.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or unionised workforce environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations cases, investigations, disciplinary matters, and stakeholder engagement.
- Exposure to compensation and benefits, including salary reviews, market benchmarking, and reward frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR governance practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and partner with senior leaders.
- Professional HR certifications such as IHRP, SHRM, CIPD or equivalent will be advantageous.
