Responsibilities of our Industrial Engineer
- Develop and define strategies for shop floor scheduling to meet the planned throughput.
- Define strategies for monthly WIP setting, production target, so as to achieve globally set target of inventories days-on-hand (for ingot, WIP and Finished goods)
- Determine equipment capacity by applying time studies, under consideration of material flow details and process- and product influences.
- Focus on identifying potential improvements regarding capacity and material flow
- Define and update the strategy regarding yield and process time variation in order to ensure fulfillment of customer demand.
- Schedule ingot growing according to product mix and puller capacities
- Plan and execute ingot deliveries to international sites
- Make adjustments to the starts and ingot growing plans to manage changes in specs requirements
Requirements of our Industrial Engineer
- Engineering Degree
- Knowledge of logistic processes and systems in manufacturing
- Manufacturing process and product costing
- High level of PC skills
- Team management
- Knowledge in C++ and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
