Internship for Logistics (Warehouse)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join Padini Holdings Berhad as an Internship for Logistics (Warehouse) based in Shah Alam, Selangor. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in warehouse and logistics operations within a dynamic manufacturing, transport and logistics environment.

As an intern, you will work alongside our experienced logistics team to support daily warehouse operations and learn the fundamentals of supply chain management, inventory control, and distribution processes. This role is perfect for someone looking to develop their career in the warehousing and logistics sector whilst contributing to the efficient operation of our facility.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods in the warehouse facility
• Support inventory management activities, including stock counting and record keeping
• Help maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness according to health and safety standards
• Assist in the preparation of shipments and ensuring accurate labelling and documentation
• Support the logistics team in order processing and packing operations
• Operate warehouse equipment under supervision, including forklifts and pallet jacks where applicable
• Contribute to warehouse efficiency by identifying and reporting any operational issues
• Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate warehouse records
• Support compliance with warehouse safety procedures and company policies

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and documentation
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems is desirable
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is advantageous
