A leading technology services organisation supporting large‐scale, myonecrotically IT environments. The team is responsible for protecting enterprise and cloud platforms through strong security operations, governance, and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Your New Role

As IT Security Officer (ITSO), you will lead security operations activities including incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance monitoring—safeguarding IT, network, and cloud assets while strengthening the organisation’s cybersecurity posture.

Your Key Responsibilities include:

• Manage and escalate cybersecurity incidents and critical security threat events
• Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking across applications, systems, and devices
• Monitor and triage security events using SIEM and security monitoring tools
• Implement and maintain security policies, technical baselines, SOPs, and controls
• Ensure compliance with security standards, CIS hardening, and audit requirements
• Oversee security for network, system, endpoint, and cloud environments
• Partner with IT teams and vendors to embed security‐by‐design across projects
• Deliver security reporting, awareness training, and stakeholder updates

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years’ experience in security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management
• Hands‐on experience with SIEM, EDR, WAF, AV, PAM, and vulnerability scanning tools
• Strong understanding of incident response, threat analysis, and system hardening
• Exposure to cloud, IaC, and CI/CD security is a plus
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
• Certifications such as CISSP or CISM preferred; cloud security certs are advantageous
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‐management skills
