About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Accounting team. You will handle day-to-day accounting operations of our regional business, and ensure accurate financial records. This role will support month-end closing, reconciliations, and basic reporting activities independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including AP, AR, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on a timely basis.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve basic discrepancies.
• Support month-end closing activities and preparation of schedules.
• Assist in preparing basic financial and management reports.
• Support internal and external audit documentation.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting records.
• Perform ad-hoc accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years' experience working in accounting, with familiarity with accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills and effectively bilingual in English and Chinese to liaise with English- and Chinese-speaking stakeholders across APAC office.
• Demonstrates responsibility and sense of ownership, is detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
