Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Possess SPM or equivalent qualification
2. Knowledge and hands-on experience in plant tissue culture are preferred
3. Familiar with basic laboratory tools and equipment is an added advantage
4. Able to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy, and work effectively in a team environment
5. Willing to work in a controlled laboratory setting

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out daily laboratory tasks, including media preparation, preparation of stock solution media, autoclaving, and equipment washing)
2. Perform culture transfers under the laminar flow cabinet in a sterile manner
3. Monitor and inspect culture for contamination or abnormalities
4. Accurately record daily work transaction and laboratory data
5. Maintain cleanliness through routine housekeeping and cleaning of the laboratory
